Holbrook Raynal, M.D., D.H.A., C.M.D., F.A.A.F.P.

With 30 years of clinical and administrative experience, Dr. Raynal brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his position as Executive Physician and Medical Director of Preserve Health.  Board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics, he earned doctoral degrees in Medicine and Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, as well as certification as medical director of long-term care facilities,

His varied background encompasses extensive clinical patient care, research in the primary care environment, teaching in an academic medical center, and executive leadership in both the private sector and in the academic environment.

With particular interest and experience in the implementation of electronic health records, systems change, preventive care, chronic disease management, and quality improvement, Dr. Raynal provides a unique perspective with regard to developing new practices, re-designing existing practices, and collaborating in the implementation of corporate wellness programs.  His motivation is the satisfaction of participating in the revolution leading to improved health for all. Before establishing Preserve Health, Dr. Raynal served as Director of Clinical Care and Quality Improvement for the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the School of Medicine at the University of South Carolina.

He is married to Susan with whom he shares two children, a son-in-law and their charming granddaughter (Andrew, Brook, Jay and Wells).
